4G Retreat -

Know Before You Go.

We can’t wait to see you.

Location & Transportation

  • The address for Lucky Arrow Retreat is 3600 Bell Springs Road, Dripping Springs, TX 78620

  • It is 33 miles from Austin International Airport and will take 50-60 minutes to get from/to the airport

  • For those flying in/out of Austin there is a mixture of car service, FETII vans, and people getting their own uber/cab. There is a reason too long and boring for the mix. If you are sharing a ride with someone you will be color coded on the attendee list in the “Ground transportation 6/6/25” column. Click on the ATTENDEE INFO button on this page to see who you are bundled with. Before travel, during or when you land, please text the group when you land and make a plan for meeting up.

  • If you are taking an Uber, an UberX should cost around $60 one-way and an Uber XL should be around $80.

  • If your flight is over one-hour late, and you have been bundled with others, please let them know so they can go on without you. If this happens, grab a cab/uber and we will reimburse you.

  • On Sunday, we have multiple departures from Lucky Arrow. You have been assigned a time to leave depending on space in each van.

Itinerary

  • Official check-in (when the rooms are guaranteed to be ready) is 4PM. You can arrive earlier and hang out by the pool, if needed.

  • You have all been assigned your own cabin/room. Before you arrive, Lucky Arrow may text you with confirmation of your room.

  • The first official event starts at 6PM on Friday, June 6. If you are driving to the retreat, please be sure to arrive in plenty of time to get yourself situated and be ready for a 6PM kickoff.

  • There will be an itinerary in your room when you check in. Please review this for the times you need to be in session. The working sessions start at 9:30am each morning and finish at 5pm on Saturday and 12pm on Sunday. We ask that everyone attends every Foundation working session. This is the purpose of the weekend! We have made sure to incorporate plenty of social time to hang out and connect with each other.

What to pack?!

  • It’s Austin, TX, in June, so it will be warm. Right now, the weather forecast is fluctuating between a high of 90-95F. Bring clothes for heat and A/C in the event center where the sessions will be held.

  • Pack a swimsuit, sturdy shoes that can deal with crushed gravel (this isn’t the time for heels), a hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellant and anything else for a balmy Texas day.

  • Rain permitting, we will be eating on a rooftop on Friday night and in a tree grove on Saturday night. Both are beautiful, so bring clothes for two outdoor dinners and casual, but respectful, clothes for the working sessions.

  • There will be yoga on Saturday morning (7:30AM) and a sound ceremony on Sunday morning (8AM) so bring comfortable yoga-type clothes if you want to participate.

Drinks & Food

  • You won’t go hungry! We have a lot of food planned, accommodating all the diets that Emily has been notified about.

  • Drinks: The Foundation will pay for all soft drinks, beer and wine. If you want cocktails or liquor, those are on you, so please start a tab with the bar manager and settle up before you leave.

Who is coming?

  • 38 of the 4G have confirmed - from each family branch! See the buttons for the attendee list and the family tree! Zoom in for easier reading!

Education Sessions

  • Finally, if you haven’t yet watched your minimum of 4 out of the 7 education sessions on Zoom, this is the time! The non-profit session with Sheryl on May 29 is a must-see, along with the history of the Foundation with DZ and Gloria. You can find the recordings on the Education Page!
